Angie is a three year old, 60 lb. yellow female that is pure bird dog. She is a natural pointing Labrador from Raider on the mother's side and Cajun on the father's. She has proven to be an excellent wild bird hunter excelling in the field in this her first year. Her background on both sire and dam side is pure tournament hunter. Sire, Newman was the 2005 NATHA Hounsell Cup winner and Dog of the Year. He won the World Flushing Championships in 2005 , the NBDCA Doubles Championships in 2002, and the Menz Doubles Dhampionships in 2006 and the U S Open twice. Her mother Josie was a finalist in three U S Open championships as well as an NBDCA Champion.
Angie completed her AKC Jr. Hunter title, and has her HRC Started title and has one Senior AKC pass. In just her first year of competition she is one pt. From her NUCS amateur championship status and has earned NBDCA open Championship status this year. She is an NBDCA National qualifier for this year's Nationals and will have a chance to prove her stuff against the best dogs in the country.
Angies eyes have current CERF. Hips are OFA Excellent, elbows Normal. She has been DNA tested and is yellow and chocolate factored.
