Angie was taken from us at a way too early age. Angie was a three year old, 60 lb. yellow female that was pure bird dog. She was a natural pointing Labrador from Raider on the mother's side and Cajun on the father's. She had proven to be an excellent wild bird hunter excelling in the field in her first year. Her background on both sire and dam side is pure tournament hunter. Sire, Newman was the 2005 NATHA Hounsell Cup winner and Dog of the Year. He won the World Flushing Championships in 2005 , the NBDCA Doubles Championships in 2002, and the Menz Doubles Championships in 2006 and the U S Open twice. Her mother Josie was a finalist in three U S Open championships as well as an NBDCA Champion.
Angie completed her AKC Jr. Hunter title, and had her HRC Started title and her HR title and had two Senior AKC passes. In just her first year of competition she was one pt. from her NUCS amateur championship status and had earned NBDCA open Championship status in the same year. She was a two time NBDCA National qualifier.
Angie's eye CERF was current and her hips were OFA Excellent, elbows Normal. She was DNA tested and was black and chocolate factored. Angie's bloodlines will always be in our kennels!
